What started as a vision to transform how catchers and hitters develop has grown into something far bigger—a community of athletes, families, and coaches who refuse to accept limitations.

2nd Annual CatcherFest ’25 — Our premier catching conference brought together the brightest minds in catching development for two days of learning, connection, and transformation.
7th Annual Elite Catcher’s Boot Camp — Our partnership with the Texas Baseball Ranch continues to deliver world-class catcher development at the highest level.

CatcherFest ’25: Where the Best Get Better
Our 2nd Annual CatcherFest Conference was everything we hoped for and more. Coaches, players, and parents from across the country gathered to learn from MLB veterans, dive deep into the science of catching, and walk away with actionable knowledge they could implement immediately.
The energy in that room reminded us exactly why we do this. Seeing coaches furiously taking notes, players asking thoughtful questions, and parents finally understanding what elite development looks like—that’s the magic of CatcherFest.

7 Years of Excellence with Texas Baseball Ranch
Seven years. That’s how long we’ve been partnering with Ron Wolforth and the Texas Baseball Ranch for our Elite Catcher’s Boot Camp. Every December, we bring together serious catchers who are ready to transform their game in three days of intensive, personalized training.
This year’s camp was no different—athletes pushing their limits, coaches pouring everything into each player, and breakthroughs happening in real time. The paradigms shift. The skills click. The confidence builds.

When the Los Angeles Dodgers came calling, it validated what we’ve always believed: the DuraCatch™ system and our approach to player development is world-class. Eddy’s role as a Special Assistant allows him to impact player development at the highest level while continuing his mission with the Ranch.

The Bullpen 954: South Florida’s New Home for Development
In 2024, we planted a flag in South Florida. The Bullpen 954 in Davie represents everything we believe about player development—where science meets soul, where data-driven training meets genuine player connection.
This facility isn’t just another batting cage. It’s a hub for transformation. Equipped with cutting-edge technology for both pitching and hitting development, The Bullpen provides the insights that turn raw talent into refined performance. And with Coach Felipe Suarez joining the team, we’ve built something truly special for Broward County and beyond.

2025 Athlete Achievements
⚾ Athletes earned college commitments at every level—from D3 to Power 5 programs
⚾ Multiple players signed professional contracts
⚾ Pop times dropped below 2.0 for players who were told it wasn’t possible
⚾ Receiving grades improved dramatically across our DuraCatch+ remote athletes
⚾ Exit velocities increased by 5-15 mph through DuraHit™ training
⚾ Players who were “too small” or “too slow” proved everyone wrong

Greg Brown is a former MLB scout, college coach, and the co-founder of Florida Baseball Ranch and The Bullpen 954. During his time with the Houston Astros organization, Greg was instrumental in identifying and drafting players like Kike Hernandez. As a National Championship head coach at Nova Southeastern University, he developed 18 MLB Draft picks and 35 professional signees.
Eddy Rodriguez is a former MLB catcher and the co-founder of Florida Baseball Ranch. With 20+ years of professional baseball experience as a player, coordinator, and MLB coach for organizations including the Marlins, Angels, Mets, and now the Dodgers, Eddy developed the DuraCatch™ Training System that has transformed catching development worldwide.
