Who He Is

A Catcher’s Mind, A Developer’s Craft

Eddy Rodriguez has lived the game from every angle — a 12-year professional catcher who reached the Major Leagues, then became one of baseball’s most sought-after catching minds, building defensive programs for the Angels, Marlins, and Mets.

His story starts on his father’s fishing boat, defecting from Cuba as a boy. That same grit defines how he develops players today — hands-on, detailed, and human-first.
